About The Model

Game ready train lantern 3D model made in Blender that was made using the metalness workflow and PBR textures. Its texture is made from worn metallic materials and the model has been manually UV unwrapped.

Lighting and Rendering

In the included blend file, you will see camera setups as well as lighting setups that use the included HDRi. The camera setups will allow you to render right away using default settings.

Rendered images and wireframes are included and were rendered using Marmoset Toolbag.

Textures

This model uses 2K PBR textures in PNG format that have been baked from their original materials into PBR materials. A material for the body and a material for the glass are used on this model. The glass material uses an opacity texture and a roughness texture. In your 3D software you can change the IOR value to change the reflectivity. A normal map is used on the lantern body to add holes without needing to add extra geometry.

Marmoset Toolbag was used for model texturing and texture baking.

File Exports

This model has been exported in FBX, OBJ, GLTF/GLB, and DAE/Collada file formats. There is also the native blend file which has all its textures/materials pre-applied which can save some time.

A help document is included, and you can view a summary of features in the documentation tab.
