Description:
Inspired by an 1896 Vose and Sons upright grand piano, this model contains both an upright cabinet grand, and a piano stool. The piano is made of heavily carved mahogany, and a piano of this type would have been a very expensive purchase in its era. The piano and stool would look good as an accent or centerpiece in any period or contemporary scene. It is of sufficient detail that it will render well in a close-up. The name “Steinman and Sons” is fictitious.
Usage:
The model is contained in a single .blend file with all textures/images/materials packed inside. There are two collections in the file, one for the piano and the other for the piano stool. To use either one (or both), you can append it into your scene as follows:
• Go to the File Menu and pull down to Append
• Find the “Antique_Piano_and_Stool.blend” file and double click on it.
• Double Click on the Collection Icon
• Select the “Append_Antique_Piano” and/or the “Append_Antique_Piano_Stool” collection and Click Append.
Note that the model components are all parented to a master Empty Item represented by the large labelled axis. You can move or rotate each Empty to adjust the location and orientation of these models.
