Antique Candlestick Telephone

by Ed Ackerman in Models

Description:

This is a model of a Western Electric 20 “Candlestick” telephone that was made circa 1910.  These phones included a base, stem, mouthpiece, and receiver. The mouthpiece rotated from frontward facing to upright to accommodate different users.  The early candlestick telephones had only a single “hook” switch (no dial or buttons) to connect to an operator who completed the call.  The model contains two differently textured versions of this phone.  One new, and the other used.  This phone can be used in a vintage or noir scene as well as an antique prop in a modern scene.  The model has an adjustable mouthpiece.

Usage:

The model is contained in a single .blend file with all textures/images/materials packed inside.  There are two versions, one new, and the other used.  To use either one (or both), you can easily append them into your scene.

Technical:

The antique candlestick telephone was modelled in Blender 3.1 and uses 2K PBR shaders.

Dimensions:  W 6.5” (16.5 cm)  H 11.6” (29.5 cm)  D 9.9” (25.1 cm)
