Description:

This is a model of an Antique Victorian bird cage of French European design.  The cage is made of a bronze metal with a slightly aged patina.  It features a large swing perch as well as a perch bar, two feeding cups and a small parakeet.  The cage has a bell shaped top hanger ring.  This model would look great as a curiosity or decorative object in any period or contemporary scene.

Usage:

This model makes use of Geometry Nodes features that are only available in Blender 3.0+  The model is contained in a single .blend file with all textures/images/materials packed inside.  To use it in your scene, you can easily append it.

Technical:

The Antique Bird Cage was modeled in Blender 3.1 and uses Geometry Nodes and instancing which helps to keep the vertex count down as much as possible while allowing small details which can make this model more realistic in extreme close-up.  It uses PBR shaders with some procedural adjustment to color.
