  Must have addon, it saves a lot of time, your animation workflow becomes extremely faster and it's very intuitive, it takes a while to get used to if you used the default NLA. The new v2 of the addon adds even more useful options. Totally worth the price!

  Some features that you would expect i.e. each animation having their own layer exists
  But there are still ways around it. All in all, this addon will help your workflow in blender. Great tool with great dev support

  This is one of those addons that once you use you'll never go back. It saves so much time and effort by allowing you to do your animation in more intuitive phases by building large movement first and then continually refining it by adding detail...which is a completely essential workflow! If you've ever completed an animation, only to need to change one small detail later and then been irritated at how many other things you need to adjust to just get them to fall into line, you'll understand why this addon is essential. Plus, the ability to turn animation layers on and off was an unexpected bonus that I cannot now live without! I hope this addon never stops development, because it's essential to me now!

  A must-have for anyone working with animation in Blender. Dev is friendly and eager to help with problems. Had some trouble getting it to work to begin with but messing around with my Blender version fixed it and it works great!

  Hi, it sounds like you are using an older Blender version in your desktop or an older version of the addon. The current version v1.9.5.6 works properly only from Blender 2.92, because of library overrides integration.
  For older versions of Blender you can revert to animation layer v1.9.2.0 via the updater tool in the preferences, However I recommend using a newer stable Blender version with the latest version of the addon.

  A bit of a buggy mess when used in conjunction with Auto Rig Pro. Body parts stop moving all of a sudden. Even restarting Blender doesn't help restore the animation to original state. Exporting to UE4 results in occasional bad bone rotation. Once Animation Layers is enabled, disabling it causes further problems with animations going weird. There must be certain rules one has to follow to avoid encountering unexpected results, perhaps things like don't use IK with Auto Rig Pro when also using Animation Layers. Or maybe just dont use ARP and AL together. Both authors should collaborate to improve user experience. Without Auto Rig Pro, its probably a good experience but I wouldn't know as I need to use Auto Rig Pro to get animations into UE4 in a desirable form.

  Hi James, thanks for the review. I'm testing the addon with ARP as well. I haven't run into any issues, and didn't get any bug reports recently. The only thing I know is that you need to merge all the layer before exporting, because ARP doesn't export from the NLA. If you running into specific issues then you are more then welcome to do a bug report. If you have a file to test then it would be even better
