What's in the Pack?

This pack currently contains 6 different tree materials, all baked from high resolution, cross polarized 3d scans, with color, normal, height, roughness and ambient occlusion maps.


Materials for both Cycles and Eevee

Included in the pack are three .blend files with materials already set up and ready to render in Blender 2.79 and 2.80 formats. The Blender 2.80 files contain material versions for both Cycles and Eevee.

Also included in the .blend files are simple meshes with the materials applied.


About the Trees

I've also included a "material catalogue" with pages for each of the trees describing what they are, along with reference measurements and photos taken of each tree.

The 6 trees currently in the pack are: American Beech, Oak, Palm, Pine, Tabebuia and Eastern White Pine.

Future Updates

Updates to the pack will include more trees and map types, as well as related assets (such as leaves and pine cones).
