This model and rig is based on the Moviebird 45 Technocrane, one of the most widely used camera technologies that exist in the film industry. With this rig you can experiment with pre-visualizing camera movement that is possible with such a piece of technology. This allows filmmakers and 3d animators to have more ease and control over their animations than is usually possible with adding a standard camera to their scene in Blender.

The rig includes an arm control, telescoping control, position control, and camera control. You can see a demo of it (Along with other camera rigs included in the LightArchitect add-on) in action in the videos shown below.
