  I think Smudgr provides an intuitive way of adding realism to the model. If there is any future update, I wish the addon can generate thumbnail and lower resolution version for me when importing my own texture. And speaking of thumbnail, if the thumbnail can display in some kind of material ball instead of texture itself will be really helpful. It needs some guess work in order to find the right texture for me when viewing directly with the texture preview. Those are just some features I love to see in the future, yet I am already satisfied with the current feature. The UI is solid and the user experience is pleasing. I really appreciate all the hard work you've dedicated to the addon.

  Great idea! and has massive potential but I don't think it lives up to it yet. UI is a little awkward to navigate with the constant scrolling, gets super confusing. Surface detailing is pretty straight forward and works well but for the life of me I could not get the edge wear to work well and when I did it was very limited in what you can do to it.

  Thanks for the honest review. I think you make a fair point about the edge wear system. It does what is says it does, create a discolored edge, but nothing more than that, that's true.
  What I think you should mention is that 'not getting edge wear to work' only was a period of like 1/2 days after this bug was reported, after which a bug fix was released. Also in this update was a new option for the UI, made specifically based on your request of having to scroll less. I don't know how the UI could be more compact now, so I'm sorry to hear you still find you have to scroll a lot.

  Easy to use and integrates well with decalmachine and instamat. If you ever have problems there is also great support.

  Better than I expected. Thanks for good addon. You better remake demo video. Demo video dosen't show the strength of this addon well

  Yes, it's true that the demo video only scratches the surface, but I wanted to keep it very short and mainly show the results. I think the video tutorials do a better job at showing all the possibilities. Thanks for the feedback!

  Install SMR_PRO_V2 as a Zip file. The pdf looks like its outdated telling you to use the .py?

  Unless installing the .zip is bad?... if so, let me know. After like 2 hours losing my mind I ignored the pdf instructions and it works as expected now (but still link the V4 file path).

  Excited to start using this add-on! Thanks!

  I will update those instructions right away, I totally forgot that they still say to install the python file instead of the zip file. Sorry for the confusion.

  This is a great addon, thank you for your talent! It´s a time saver and simplifies all the process inside Blender to create realistic materials, much better than messing with nodes or using another external software and it´s amazing the excellent results that can be achieved in a few simple steps.
