Merry Christmas to you all!

It's that time of year so here is a cute Father Christmas with his Dyr friend...

*A historical note: the Old Norse word 'hreindyri' or 'reindeer' comes from the word 'dyr' meaning 'animal' and 'hreinn' meaning 'horned'...

Anyway...

Father Christmas is wearing a velvet robe of cheery red tartan fabric, trimmed with white fur. He is also wearing green woolen mittens and brown leather shoes.

Dyr, with his big red nose,  is wearing a snuggly green wooly scarf while his soft hair keeps his head and ears warm.

Santa was based on Caroline Nyman's adorable 'Little Santa', she graciously gave me permission to create this model so please be sure to credit her in whatever you make with this model.

Dyr was based on a design by Sylvia Zet.
